Q. What is an Aerial Tree Top Adventure Course?
A. A aerial Tree Top Adventure Course is an adventurous obstacle course set in the natural environment where the course is located, in this case the beautiful Adirondacks of Bolton Landing New York. The obstacles are suspended between trees and participants stay securely clipped into a red safety cable throughout the course. The obstacles you will find in our park include zip lines, suspended bridges, scramble nets, swinging logs, surf boards, and much more.

Q. Can I make a reservation?
A. Reservations are EXTREMELY recommended. To avoid any disappointments we always recommend calling in advance and making a reservation.
Spring/Fall Months – Reservation EXTREMELY recommended.
Summer Months – Reservations REQUIRED.

Q. Who has to Fill out our waiver?
A. Everyone that wants to experience our fun filled courses must complete a waiver. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver forms completed and signed by their parent or legal guardian.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. We accept American cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Q. Is there more than one course to participate on?
A. Yes – indeed there is! There are SIX adult courses for those who meet the height/age requirements (Green, Blue, Silver, Pink, Red and Black) and ONE children’s course (Yellow).

Q. How long, in terms of time, would it take the average adult to complete the adult course?
A. Although you can end your thrilling adventure at the end of any one of the courses, it will take you approximately 3 – 4 hours to complete the adult course (including the brief training session).

Q. How do I get started on a course?
A. When you have completed your waiver form and paid for your access, you’ll be scheduled into a brief group training session. At the training session, you’ll be fitted into your harness and your guide will show you how to attach yourself to safety lines and how to attach yourself to a zip line. Once your guide deems that you can safely use your equipment, you’ll be able to proceed onto the first of five courses. More info…

Q. Is there a minimum age/height for accessing the children’s Yellow course?
A. Children must be a minimum of 7 years old. In order for children to be able to reach the safety lines and manage their way through the course they must be able to reach the tips of the fingers to a height of 4’7″ (140 cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground.

Q. Is there a height restriction for the Junior Adult and Adult Course?
A. In order for guests to be able to reach the safety lines and manage their way through the Adult Course they must be able to reach the tips of the fingers to a height of 5’11″ (180 cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground. The height restriction for the Junior Adult Course is 5’9″.

Q. How are the SIX courses in the adult course ranked in terms of elevation and difficulty?
A. The skill level and height of each section of the course is marked using a color coded system indicating the challenge based on elevation and difficulty.

Q. Are there clothing requirements for the Course?
A. Appropriate footwear and clothing is required for safety purposes: No open-toed shoes; no slip-on shoes; no loose baggy clothing or shirts wrapped around the waist; long hair must be tied back; and, we strongly recommend no jewelry – especially necklaces or loose bracelets which could get caught in equipment. As well, we recommend that you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirt or sap on (they’re trees, it just happens). Guests can be refused access to the course if they do not have appropriate clothing to meet our safety standards.

Q. Can I get a refund if I don’t want to proceed on to a course?
A. If you don’t proceed onto a course immediately following the end of your training session, you’ll get a partial refund. Once you have finished your training and you start on any of the courses, you’ll have forfeited any refund options.

Q. What if I don’t want to go on the course myself, but I want to watch my family/friends go on the courses?
A. There are walking trails along the course that allow you to walk and observe others as they use and progress through the courses.

Q. Is it possible for physically disabled persons to use the course?
A. With direct assistance it may be possible for some physically disabled people to complete some aspects of some of the courses. We would require advance notice and a brief interview to determine if it would work out. Give us a call. There may be additional costs involved.

Q. Is there a weight limit to participate on our courses?
A. We do not go by weight limit we go by waist size. You must have a 44 inch waist or smaller to be able to participate on our courses.
